About Pleasing God Ministries
Pleasing God Ministries exists to serve the church by providing biblically faithful teaching and resources aimed at helping Christians think biblically, live faithfully, and pursue the glory of God in every area of life.
Our Aim
The aim of Pleasing God Ministries is to encourage steady faithfulness to God’s Word. Through teaching, writing, and conversation, this ministry seeks to support discipleship that is rooted in Scripture and expressed through life in the local church.
Our Commitments
This ministry is shaped by historic Christian belief and a conviction that Scripture is sufficient, authoritative, inerrant, and necessary for life and godliness.
- The authority and sufficiency of Scripture
- The centrality of Jesus Christ in all of life and doctrine
- The importance of the local church in God’s design for discipleship
- The call to live faithfully for the glory of God
Ministry Oversight
Pleasing God Ministries is shaped by pastoral ministry and accountability within the local church. For that reason, it may be helpful to introduce the person responsible for this work briefly.
Jonathan Sole serves in pastoral ministry and has been involved in the life of the local church for over a decade. His teaching and writing are shaped by preaching ministry, theological training, and life with his family in the context of church service. Pleasing God Ministries flows out of this pastoral calling and is intended to serve the church, not replace it.
In Service of the Local Church
Pleasing God Ministries is not a substitute for the local church. Instead, it exists to support and encourage faithfulness within the church by offering resources that are shaped by pastoral ministry and accountability.
It is our prayer that this ministry would be used in some small way to help believers grow in clarity, conviction, and Christ-centered living, all for the glory of God.
